This site offers a full day of learning for children 2.6 -5 years. Limited spaces for part-time care may be available. Our Early Learing programming is based on observing and building upon the emerging skills of the individual child. |

This sites offers two distinct services for families. The first is a JK/SK Wrap for kinder-garten ages, the second is a before and after school service for children 6-12 years. A full day service is available on non school days. The continued emergent learning is built both on the individual child and the appropriate Board curriculum. |
BOTH SITES OFFER:
- Monday through Friday 7:30-6:00 PM
- Open 12 months of the year excluding statutory holidays*.
- Space is available to families who may require financial assistance.
- Nutritional snack and lunch is served where applicable.
* some exceptions may apply to hours/days of operation.

PRESCHOOL UNIVERSAL
This valuable preschool program is a component of the Government of Ontario’s “BEST START” initiative unique to three pilot sites in the province, Hamilton East being the urban demo site. PRESCHOOL UNIVERSAL is a FREE service operating Monday through Friday, September to June. Children admitted for September must be turning 3 before December 31st of the same year, AND MUST LIVE WITHIN THE BOARD MANDATED BOUNDARIES OF SELECT PUBLIC SCHOOLS WITHIN THE HAMILTION EAST AREA.
The Early Learning curriculum focuses on the development of social and lifeskills of each child in preparation for Junior Kindergarten the following year. In addition individual learning and growth is promoted and enhanced in a variety of ways.
PRESCHOOL UNIVERSAL IS OFFERED:
- At both sites.
- September through June –excluding statutory holidays
- Parents choose one of the following:
Mornings from 9:00-11:30 am or Afternoons 1:00-3:30 pm
